How to find your device MAC Address

*Note that there are many different versions of devices. If you cannot find the MAC address using these instructions, check your user manual or search for instructions online for your specific model.

Streaming Devices

Apple TV

  1. From the main menu, choose Settings
  2. Click About or Network
  3. Look for the MAC address next to "Ethernet Address" for the wired network or "Wi-Fi address" for the wireless connection.
  4. Alternatively, you may find the MAC address printed on the UPC label on the Apple TV box.

Google TV

From Settings, select Network, and then Status. Your MAC address will appear on the screen.

Roku

  1. Go to the Roku Home screen
  2. Select Settings and press the OK button.
  3. Select System and press the OK button.
  4. Select About and press the OK button.
  5. The wired MAC address is listed next to Ethernet MAC Address.

Alternatively, you may be able to find the MAC address on the bottom or back of your Roku. 

Roku TCL TV

From the Roku home screen, select Settings, then Network, then Wi-fi, and then New Wireless Connection. Push Other Options. Scan for networks again, and your Mac address will display on the right.

or

1.  Press the Home button on the remote.

2.  Go to Settings and select OK on the remote.

3.  Go to Network and select OK on the remote.

4.  Go to About.

The MAC address can be found next to Wireless MAC address.

Seiki Smart TV

From Settings, go to Setup, and then Network, and then IP address. Both the wireless and wired MAC addresses are listed on this page.

Fire Stick/TV

  1. From the Main Menu go to Settings
  2. Select System
  3. Then go to About
  4. Toggle down to Network
  5. Look for the MAC Address (Wi-Fi or wired)

Sony Blu-Ray Disc player

Follow the online instructions from Sony

  1. Make sure that the Blu-ray Disc player and TV or display device are turned on
  2. Using the supplied remote, press Home.
  3. Use the left arrow or right arrow to select Setup.
  4. Use the up arrow or down arrow to select System Settings.
  5. Press Enter.
  6. Select System Information.
  7. Press Enter.

TiVo

From the TiVo Menu, select Settings, and then choose Phone/Network. Your MAC address will appear on the page that opens.

Vizio Smart TV

Press the Menu button on the remote and select Network, and then Manual Setup. The RJ45 (wired) and/or Wireless MAC address will appear on the screen.

Gaming Consoles

Nintendo DS

To locate the MAC Address­­s of your DS:

  1. Select System Settings from the Home menu.
  2. Scroll down through the menu and select Internet.
  3. The Nintendo Switch console's MAC address will be listed under "System MAC Address."

Nintendo Switch 

  1. Select System Settings from the Home menu.
  2. Scroll down through the menu and select Internet.
  3. The Nintendo Switch console's MAC address will be listed under "System MAC Address."

PS5

  1. Start up your PlayStation 5 without a disk in the drive.
  2. On the home screen, click on the settings icon (gear) in the top-right corner.
  3. Select System.
  4. Under System Software, select Console Information.
  5. You will see the MAC addresses for LAN cable (Ethernet) and Wi-Fi.

PS4

To locate the MAC Address of your Playstation 4 console:

  1. Arrow up and over to Settings in the PS4 menu.
  2. Scroll down to Network
  3. Scroll down to View Connection Status
  4. The MAC Address will be listed next to MAC Address

PS3

To locate the MAC Address of your Playstation 3 console:

  1. From the main menu, select Settings.
  2. Select System Settings.
  3. Select System Information.
  4. The MAC Address will then be displayed on the screen.

PSP/PS Vita

To locate the MAC Address of your PlayStation Portable (PSP):

  1. Navigate to System Settings
  2. Then navigate to System Information, which is where the MAC Address is listed.

Xbox Series X/S

  1. Find My Xbox in the Xbox Dashboard and select Settings.
  2. Under General, select Network Settings.
  3. Select Advanced Settings from the Network Settings tab.
  4. You will see the MAC addresses for Wired (Ethernet) and Wireless (Wi-Fi).

Xbox One

To locate the MAC Address of your Xbox One console:

  1. Navigate to My Games and Apps
  2. Select Settings.
  3. Select Network.
  4. Select Advanced Settings.
  5. The MAC Addresses for the wired and wireless adapters should be displayed.

Xbox 360

To locate the MAC Address of your Xbox 360 wireless adapter:

  1. Select System Settings.
  2. Select Network Settings.
  3. Select Configure Network.
  4. Under Basic Settings, check to make sure IP Settings is set to Automatic.
  5. Go to Additional Settings.
  6. Select Advanced Settings.
  7. The MAC Addresses for the wired and wireless adapters should be displayed.

Wii U

To locate the MAC Address of your Wii U console:

  1. From the Wii U Menu, select System Settings.
  2. Using the left stick, select the Internet icon and press the A button.
  3. Select View MAC Address and wait a moment for the MAC Address to be displayed.

Other Devices

Amazon Devices

  1. Download the Amazon Alexa app to your phone or computer and sign in with your Amazon account.
  2. Connect to the wireless network transmitted by your Echo device.
  3. The wireless MAC address for your Echo can be found at the bottom of the Echo Setup screen in the Alexa app.

Amazon Echo

The easiest way to find your MAC address is in the Amazon Alexa app. Choose Settings, then Device Settings, then Echo Dot. It should be listed at the very bottom of the About page and be 12 characters.
